Following Troy Bayliss’s prediction that the young American sensation Ben Spies will be one of the main contenders for next season’s World Superbike crown, the three time AMA Superbike champion has spoken of his admiration for the current WSB champ saying that he would loved to have raced against his hero.
Spies says in an interview with MCN;
“I would have liked to have raced with Bayliss because he’s the best World Superbike guy out there. But for my first year in the series and the fact that I’ve got to learn new tracks then maybe it’s better that he’s not here!. Bayliss has been one of my favourite riders for a long time and I wish I’d have been able to share the track with him to see how I’d go.”
