<p>Female motorcycle rider<strong> Paola Cazzola</strong> has signed a contract with the<strong> Elle 2 Ciatti </strong>team and will be racing at this weekends World Supersport round at San Marino.</p>
<p>The Italian rider will be at her home circuit on her return to the series after parting ways with the <strong>Kuja Racing</strong> team where she rode their<strong> Honda CBR 600RR.</strong></p>
<p>The 32-year-old is the first woman to compete full-time in the Supersport World championship after dominating woman&#8217;s racing in Italy over the past few years.</p>
<p><strong>Paola</strong> has been named the &#8216;Valentino Rossi in Pink&#8217; and scored points during her first outing of the series at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia.  The Italian rider was also the first woman to ever win the Vallelunga Rome race of the Yamaha R6 Series Cup after beating all the other male riders in the competition back in 2006.</p>

<p>At the twelfth round of the World Superbike Championship at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, <strong>Noriyuki Haga </strong>claimed the chequered flag in both races on the <strong>Yamaha Motor Italia WSB.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Race One</strong></span></p>
<p>Haga battled with<strong> Max Biaggi </strong>on the <strong>Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati</strong> and team-mate <strong>Troy Corser</strong> to claim his fifth victory of the season.</p>
<p><strong>Biaggi</strong> finished in second place in front of his home crowd with <strong>Corser</strong> in third followed by <strong>Max Neukirchner </strong>in fourth on the <strong>Alstare Suzuki</strong> after a terrible start.</p>
<p><strong>Carlos Checa</strong> on the <strong>Hanspree Ten Kate Honda</strong> finished in fifth place ahead of Championship leader <strong>Troy Bayliss</strong> on the <strong>Xerox Ducati</strong> in sixth, after taking the lead at the start but struggled with a bad choice of tyre.</p>
<p>In seventh place in front of his home crowd was <strong>Michel Fabrizio</strong> on the second <strong>Xerox Ducati </strong>followed by <strong>Roberto Rolfo </strong>on the<strong> Hanspree Honda Althea</strong>, who stalled on the grid but managed to make up the places.</p>
<p><strong>Karl Muggeridge</strong> slid off the track on his <strong>Honda </strong>taking the <strong>Hanspree Ten Kate Honda</strong> rider <strong>Sofuoglu </strong>with him while his team-mate <strong>Ryuichi Kiyonari </strong>crashed out at the same spot.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Race Two</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Haga</strong> again had a battle on his hands as <strong>Bayliss</strong> stayed on his tail until he crashed out on the final lap at the hairpin.</p>
<p><strong>Fabrizio </strong>claimed an impressive second snatched from <strong>Corser</strong> on the ultimate lap with <strong>Neukirchner</strong> and <strong>Checa </strong>again finishing in fourth and fifth places respectively.</p>
<p><strong>Fonsi Nieto </strong>for<strong> Suzuki </strong>was in sixth followed by <strong>Yukio Kagayama</strong> on the <strong>Suzuki </strong>in seventh place, <strong>Shinichi Nakatomi </strong>on the<strong> Yamaha</strong> in eighth and <strong>Regis Laconi </strong>in ninth.</p>
<p><strong>Biaggi </strong>crashed with<strong> Kenan Sofuoglu </strong>at the beginning of the race, <strong>Biaggi</strong> was unhurt while <strong>Sofuoglu </strong>suffered a bruised pelvis.</p>

<p><strong>Troy Bayliss</strong> on the <strong>Xerox Ducati</strong>, is on pole position for tomorrows round of the World Superbike Championship on the outskirts of Rome.</p>
<p>In second and third position were the <strong>Yamaha Motor Italia </strong>riders, <strong>Troy Corser</strong> and <strong>Noriyuki Haga </strong>followed by <strong>Max Biaggi</strong> on the <strong>Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati </strong>in fourth.</p>
<p><strong>Bayliss,</strong> who is retiring at the end of season, could win his third World Superbike title if he wins tomorrow, he is currently leading <strong>Troy Corser</strong> by 101 points going into the race.</p>
<p>The <strong>Hanspree Ten Kate Honda</strong> rider <strong>Ryuichi Kiyonari</strong> was in fifth place followed by <strong>Max Neukirchner</strong> on the <strong>Alstare Suzuki.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Michel Fabrizio</strong> on the second <strong>Xerox Ducati </strong>came in seventh fastest ahead of <strong>Yukio Kagayama</strong> for <strong>Suzuki</strong> and <strong>Lorenzo Lanzi</strong> for <strong>Ducati.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ruben Xaus</strong> crashed out during qualifying and will now start from the third row and the same for <strong>Carlos Checa.</strong></p>
