The World Superbike rider Jakub Smrz has confirmed that he will once again be racing for the Guandalini Ducati team for the 2010 season.
Smrz ended his second season with the team in tenth position overall after recording a pole position, a fastest lap and the first podium of his career, in race 2 at Assen this season.
The 26-year-old Czech rider, was a replacement for Roberto Rolfo in 2007 on the Ducati 999 F05, finishing his first season in fourteenth place overall with his best place of eighth. In 2008, he rode the Ducati 1098 RS 08 for the Guandalini team finishing the championship in eighteenth position overall and gaining a seat for the following year.
