Troy Bayliss is expecting to be fit for the opening round of the World Superbike Championship at Qatar on 24th February.
Bayliss suffered a fractured right collarbone and sternum during testing at Philip Island back in January and is understood to have been having daily ultrasound sessions in an effort to be fit for next week.
Bayliss is due to test tomorrow and said in a statement to MCN “I think I’m going to be OK to test tomorrow and I’m feeling pretty good”, he went onto say “But I guess I’m going to have to wait and see until I get out on the bike. Until I start braking really hard out on track I’m not really going to know”.
