Race 2

In race two, it was Ruben Xaus who claimed the win on the Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati ahead of team-mate Max Biaggi.

The race was stopped on the second lap as Karl Muggeridge’s machine had leaked oil over the track, but the restart was just as exciting.

Biaggi looked to be struggling for pace during the middle part of the race but pulled it back to capitalize on mistakes by Corser and Bayliss.

Troy Bayliss finished in third place followed by Noriyuki Haga in fourth and Haga’s team-mate, Corser in fifth.
