Troy Corser took the pole position today ahead of tomorrows World Superbike Championship round at Misano on the Yamaha Motor Italia.
Troy Bayliss on the Xerox Ducati took second place ahead of Jakub Smrz on the Ducati and Kawasaki rider Regis Laconi in fourth.
In fifth place was Michel Fabrizio on the Ducati followed by Spain’s Carlos Checa on the Honda and Max Neukirchner for the Suzuki team.
Fonsi Nieto was in eighth on the Suzuki ahead of Max Biaggi for Ducati and Ruben Xaus on yet another Ducati to round up the top ten.
