The summer break is now over for the World Superbike Championship as the teams and riders continue with the rest of the season starting with Donington Park this weekend.

There are still four rounds, eight races left of this seasons championship and two-hundred points still up for grabs but can anyone compete with the fantastic racing of Troy Bayliss on the Xerox Ducati or will he complete his third world title.

Bayliss is currently leading the championship by 82 points while second place man, Max Neukirchner on the Alstare Suzuki is being hunted down by Yamaha Motor Italia WSB rider Troy Corser.

Noriyuki Haga, team-mate of Corser is lying in fifth place but only three points behind him while Alstare Suzuki rider Fonsi Nieto is moving closer after scoring to fifth places at the Brands Hatch round.

Max Biaggi on the Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati is another rider moving up the points after getting on the podium four times out of the last five races and with only five points between himself, Hanspree Ten Kate Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari and Michel Fabrizio on the second Ducati Xerox, it’s still all to play for.
